BMW X3 30e xDrive

A premium plug-in hybrid SUV eligible for Uber X, Comfort and Premier. Rated at 1.6 l/100km combined (ADR 81/02), with a 22.1 kWh battery you can charge at home before each shift.

Premium trips.
Plug-in running costs.

The X3 30e hybrid engine pairs a petrol engine with a 135kW electric motor for 220kW combined. Charge the 22.1 kWh battery at home or at public chargers. Charging regularly can mean lower fuel costs than a comparable petrol SUV, depending on how and where you charge and drive.

Passengers get the comfort they expect from a BMW: three-zone climate control, a fixed panorama glass roof, privacy glass and roller sunblinds, plus heated outer rear seats. Those details make a difference on Uber Comfort and Premier trips.

Fuel consumption and CO2 emissions figures are based upon the Combined Driving Test Cycle in accordance with ADR 81/02 on purpose built test vehicles. Actual figures will depend on many factors including traffic conditions, driving habits, prevailing conditions and your vehicle's equipment, condition and use. Figures are for comparison between vehicles only.

Charging rates are approximate and may vary due to factors including the condition and temperature of the vehicle's battery, the charging equipment used and environmental conditions.

Uber sets the vehicle requirements for each category, and eligibility can vary by city.

How does it work?

Splend provides a subscription-based car plan designed specifically for Uber and other rideshare drivers in Australia. Drivers sign a subscription agreement, not a finance or loan contract.

You pay a single weekly subscription fee that covers*:

  • A) Vehicle access (rideshare-ready car)

  • B) Registration, CTP, Rideshare licence/inspections, Scheduled servicing, and replacement tyres and brakes due to wear^

  • C) Rideshare-specific loss and damage cover (for certain Flexi Own contracts from 1 October 2025 you can opt instead to obtain your own eligible Rideshare insurance should you wish) with optional replacement vehicle provision.

Splend offers two flexible vehicle plans to suit your needs:

  • Flexi Own – work towards ownership while benefiting from all inclusions.

  • Flexi Try – try before you buy, ideal for testing rideshare or EVs.

*Subject to the terms of your Flexi Own/Flexi Try agreement. Servicing and maintenance subject to applicable caps. Additional fees may apply.

^ Some of our vehicles will be available without servicing and other consumables, for a lower weekly subscription. Speak to one of our friendly staff for further details.
