Splend “Home Advantage” At-Home EV Charging Subsidy

Terms & Conditions

1. Promotion Overview
Splend Pty Ltd is offering eligible drivers (customers) financial support of up to $1,500 (including GST) towards the purchase and installation of an at-home electric vehicle (EV) charger (“Promotion”).

2. Eligibility
To qualify, drivers must:

  • Take up a Pre-Owned Flexi Own plan for a Polestar 2, Tesla Model Y, or Tesla Model 3 with Splend between 10 September 2025 and 31 December 2025; or

  • Be an existing Splend Flexi Own customer driving one of the above vehicles and receive a direct communication from Splend inviting participation in this Promotion.

3. Promotion Period and Availability

  • The Promotion runs from 10 September 2025 until 31 December 2025, unless fully subscribed earlier.

  • The Promotion is limited to the first 450 eligible drivers who apply and are accepted by Splend.

  • To apply and be accepted into the Promotion, drivers must either:

    • Send Splend a quote provided by Splend’s preferred EV charging supplier addressed to you as customer (Option 1), or

    • Send Splend a quote capable of acceptance addressed to you as customer for an at-home EV charger and installation from a qualified electrician (Option 2), in accordance with these Terms & Conditions.

    • And receive written confirmation from Splend that their quote has been accepted

  • Applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

4. Support Amount

  • The maximum support available is $1,500 (including GST) per eligible driver.

  • The maximum $1,500 support is for supply and installation of a 3-phase charger.

  • A $1,000 support maximum is available for supply and installation of a single-phase charger.

  • No cash alternative, partial refunds, or transfers will be provided.

5. How to Claim
Eligible drivers may choose one of two options:

Option 1 – Splend Preferred Supplier

  • Customer obtain a quote from Splend’s preferred EV charger supplier and provides a copy of the quote to Splend. Splend will then promptly confirm whether you are eligible for the Subsidy, as per the requirements in these Terms and Conditions.

  • You accept the quote with the supplier.

  • The supplier will arrange installation with you, usually within 10 business days of providing the quote.

  • Splend will pay the supplier directly, on your behalf, for the cost of the charger and installation, up to the maximum support amount as set out in clause 4.

  • If the invoice exceeds the maximum support amount:

    • Splend will pay the maximum support amount directly to the supplier, and

    • You will be responsible for paying any balance owing.

  • If the invoice is less than the maximum support amount:

    • Splend will pay the invoice in full.

    • No cash or credit will be provided for the unused balance.

Option 2 – Self-Managed Installation

  • Customers may purchase their own wall charger and organise installation through a qualified, accredited electrician.

  • Customers must pay all costs upfront and then submit invoices to Splend for reimbursement, following the acceptance and approval steps noted in clause 3

  • Reimbursement conditions:

    • Only ABN tax invoices will be accepted.

    • Invoices must include the provider’s ABN, the electrician’s details, and a clear statement of amounts paid.

    • Only invoices from qualified electricians will be accepted.

    • The address for the installation of the charger must match the address of the Splend driver.

    • Splend will reimburse up to a total of $1,500 including GST for a 3-phase charger, and up to a total of $1,000 for a single-phase charger, or the actual amount paid if lower.

  • Reimbursement will be provided as a credit to the driver’s Splend account, applied against future weekly invoices.

6. General Conditions

  • The Promotion is limited to one subsidy per eligible driver and vehicle.

  • Splend reserves the right to verify invoices and installation providers before approving reimbursement.

  • Any costs beyond the maximum subsidy (including GST) are the responsibility of the driver.

  • Splend accepts no liability for the performance, safety, or ongoing operation of chargers or installations, whether arranged through the preferred supplier or self-managed.

  • By participating, customers acknowledge and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

  • Splend reserves the right to amend, suspend, or withdraw the Promotion at any time where necessary.

7. Disclaimer

  • Under both Options the customer is the direct customer with the supplier, not Splend. Splend will merely be making the financial support contribution on the customer’s behalf. Customer will be responsible for reviewing all quotes and terms and conditions provided by the supplier.
